Welcome to Piwipetportraits! (aka Alison Shaw)

It is with pleasure that I offer my artistic services to New Zealand (and beyond). I offer quality detailed hand drawn charcoal portraits of your pet or a loved one's pet. I mostly draw dogs and cats however I can draw any animal, horses and birds inclusive! I also draw people. I have been sending my artworks around the country for around five years now.

My own two dogs love to get out and about in this wonderful city (Taupo). Hunting rabbits is Bella's favourite past time, however Major is getting a bit old for such activities, the legs don't move as fast as they used to and arthritis has set in. They both enjoy regular swims in the Waikato River in the summer time. Bella had a litter of puppies just over a year ago. She was the best Mum ever, although the timing was bad as we had a funeral to organise at around the same time. Below are a couple of photo's of her puppies (one of which I have drawn and is in my gallery).
